Program Manager
Lead all phases of the program from requirements analysis and initial planning through to successful product delivery. This role involves creating, coordinating, and updating project plans throughout the lifecycle, as well as developing and maintaining the program's integrated master schedule. The position requires effective management to ensure client deliverables are met and involves coordinating with project teaming partners for successful execution.
Responsibilities include :
- Leading all phases of the program from requirements analysis to product delivery.
- Creating, coordinating, and updating project plans throughout the lifecycle.
- Developing and maintaining the program integrated master schedule, including internal and external milestones.
- Ensuring client deliverables are identified and met through effective management of project components and staff.
- Traveling to project sites to monitor activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and communicating staffing needs to leadership to resolve requirements.
- Maintaining awareness and ensuring successful execution of required invoicing and associated deadlines.
- Coordinating the monthly and weekly monitoring and reporting of project financial status.
- Working alongside project teaming partners to ensure successful project execution.
Essential skills :
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and / or Analytical discipline.8+ years of relevant capture and project management experience.Ability to quickly acquire working knowledge of program-specific laws, policies, and procedures.Experience in successful cost, schedule, and contract management of engineering projects.Dynamic and energetic leadership that involves team members in decision making.Experience working with teaming subcontractors for successful integration and delivery.Willingness to travel to support project needs (average 30%).US Citizenship required to obtain necessary remote facility access.Additional skills and qualifications :
Experience with material management, including vendor challenges and efficient tracking systems.Experience with automating DOD munitions facilities and processes.Work environment :
The role involves strong technical backgrounds in controls, automation, and mechanical engineering, often working with PLCs, robotics, and custom machinery. The environment is a machine shop setting, climate-controlled, well-lit, and organized to support both individual craftsmanship and collaborative problem-solving. Team members work closely with precision equipment and CNC machinery, following strict safety protocols and maintaining clean workstations. Pay and benefits :
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
