Summary

Our client, a well-established full-service design firm, is seeking an Architect Level III to join their Charleston, SC office. This position offers the opportunity to lead technical execution, mentor junior staff, and manage high-impact projects from concept through construction. Requirements

  • Registered Architect (RA) required
  • 8+ years of professional architectural experience
  • Strong proficiency in Revit ; working knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite preferred
  • Expertise in construction documentation, detailing, and coordination
  • Strong understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, and technical standards
  • Leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding team members
  • Background in public, education, or healthcare architecture preferred
  • Residency or willingness to relocate to Charleston, SC

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and technical execution for projects across multiple sectors
  • Manage design and construction document production, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Oversee collaboration with consultants, contractors, and clients
  • Conduct code research, perform quality control reviews, and enforce project standards
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and on-site visits
  • Provide construction administration support, including RFIs, submittals, and punch lists
  • Support the development of junior team members and uphold project schedules
