Salary : $28.00 - $63.66 Hourly DOE

MRI / Multi-Modality Technologist

Full Time 3-12 hour shifts (0630-1900)

Job Summary :

• The MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment to produce quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• In addition to MRI, CT and X-Ray are preferred.
• Provides excellent patient care in a timely, professional, efficient and safe manner.

Reports to : Manager, Diagnostic Imaging

Hourly Rate : $28.00 - $63.66

(hourly rate does not include overtime or bonuses which are not guaranteed)

Essential Job Functions :

Demonstrates the spirit of the philosophy, mission, and values of the hospital through words and actions and implements them into departmental processes, programs, and the working environment.

Minimum Requirements :

Education : Graduation from an ARRT approved program in Radiography and in Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Certification, Licensure : Current CPR certification; registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Experience, Training, Knowledge : Minimum of one (1) year of experience as technologist in a hospital setting.

Physical Requirements :

Lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling up to fifty (50) pounds while administering care to patients, etc. Stooping, kneeling, and / or crouching daily in delivery of patient care, obtaining equipment, etc. Standing and walking more than five (5) hours per day in administering patient care in multiple rooms. Running occasionally in responding to patient care emergencies. Reaching, grasping, handling, and / or feeling five (5) or more hours per day in administering patient care, i.e. operating various radiologic equipment.
