We’re seeking a sharp legal assistant for our busy law firm who can help our attorneys and paralegals assist clients and keep the office running smoothly. You’ll be working on pre-litigation personal injury cases. You will be responsible for setting up files, contacting all relevant parties, assisting clients, preparing demand letters, subrogation, and closing files.

Compensation :

$40,000 - $60,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently
• Take care of administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and informing the team of upcoming deadlines
• Work with attorneys and paralegals to create various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents when requested
• Contact all relevant parties
• Resolve Property Damage
• Gather records
• Prepare Demand letters
• Handle subrogation
• Settlement accounting
• Closing files
