Key Job Details – Mammography Technologist Travel Assignment

Location : Coral Gables, FL 33134 (South Florida healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 12 weeks (Estimated : 10 / 27 / 2025 – 1 / 19 / 2026)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1920 - $2060

Schedule : Monday – Thursday, 7 : 30am – 5 : 00pm (4x10-hour day shifts, 40 hours / week as determined by site leader)

Weekend Requirement : Yes, rotating

On Call : No

Setting : Outpatient Diagnostic Center

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist

Valid Florida State license as a General Radiographer

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required

Completion of Initial Mammography Course (40 hours of training)

15 breast CME credits within the last 36 months

Documentation of mammograms performed in the last 24 months OR reinstatement with documentation of 25 supervised cases per MQSA

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA

8 hours Tomosynthesis / 3D mammography training

COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions for COVID-19 only)

Diploma or transcripts for highest degree earned (required at submission)

Not accepting candidates who reside within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, or Monroe counties, or within a 50-mile radius of the facility

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures in compliance with MQSA and ACR standards

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during all imaging procedures

Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation

Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide excellent clinical support

Stay current with continuing education and maintain all required certifications for mammography technologists

May float within the hospital or outpatient center as needed
