Shift : Tuesday–Friday | 9 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Scheduled Hours : 40 hours / week

Shifts per Week : 4

On-Call : May be required

Sign-On Bonus : $10,000

Pay Range : $33 – $48 / hour

Job Summary :

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the general supervision of a Radiologist or licensed provider. This role supports both ambulatory and inpatient settings, delivering high-quality imaging for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols and clinical standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process
  • Ensure proper documentation and image labeling
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret findings
  • Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications :

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience : Entry-level; less than 1 year of experience required
  • Certification :
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
  • Must hold at least one of the following sonography credentials :

    • Accepted Sonography Certifications :

    American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) :

  • Breast Sonography (ARRT-BS)
  • General Sonography (ARRT-S)

    • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) :

  • Abdomen (RDMS-AB)
  • Breast (RDMS-BR)
  • OB / GYN (RDMS-OB)
  • Musculoskeletal Sonography (MSK)
  • Vascular Technology (RVT)

    • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) :

  • Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
