Position Summary
The
Project Manager - Construction & Design
is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing campground development and improvement projects across Northgate Resorts' portfolio. This role works closely with senior team members to manage schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication among internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors. This is a full-time position located in our Grand Rapids, MI office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage campground development, renovation, and capital expenditure (CapEx) projects ranging from $50K to $50MM.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, budgets, and schedules.
Lead coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment and project success.
Organize and maintain drawing sets, permit applications, and internal reporting.
Monitor construction progress, track contractor deliverables, and oversee punch list completion.
Coordinate and conduct project site visits as needed.
Provide regular project updates and ensure timely flow of documentation to internal teams.
Conduct project research, feasibility studies, and site investigations to support decision-making.
Assist Construction & Design leadership with additional divisional tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 2-3 years of commercial construction or project coordination experience.
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in project coordination, construction management, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of construction processes, documents, and terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
Proficiency in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Pay Range :
$75,000 - $85,000 per year
