If you're a Staff Operations Engineer , we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Staff Operations Engineer reports to Technical Leadership whose focus is performing design and support of moderate to high complexity manufacturing systems and equipment, mentoring to other Engineers and supporting process improvements. This position works under a moderate to low level of supervision. Independent technical decisions on work are covered by precedents; this position seeks direction / guidance on novel or controversial problems. In addition, this position may participate in project-specific relationship building with Customers, Suppliers, individuals or organizations.

Lends lessons learned and leads training efforts for process understanding.Creates, maintains and develops new process documentation and updates work order documentation. Creates new systems that support this effort.Implements complex engineering changes. Leads and acts as a change agent for complex engineering changes.Adheres to applicable Quality System requirements and supports process auditsLeads Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plan ReviewsWhat We Are Looking For :
Level 4 :
Bachelor's Degree in Arts / Science (BA / BS) in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.Advanced Degree PreferredOver 8 years of professional engineering experience, or a combination of experience and an advanced degreeStrong knowledge of Six Sigma principles; advanced expertise in Lean Manufacturing methodologiesComprehensive understanding of designing complex tools and fixturesProficient in all relevant software applicationsApplies robust Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles to support new product developmentSolid understanding of applicable manufacturing processes including Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programming; Ability to apply advanced knowledge of capabilities studies, Gage R&R, and machine capability; Solid understanding of machinery related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc. in order to specify equipment and procure capital; Solid understanding of product drawings, including GD&T and specification flow downThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
