Accounting Manager (Leases)
Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their company for a direct hire position that will be onsite in Irvine, CA. The Accounting Manager will oversee GL accounting, AP, and procurement, with a specific focus on leases, fixed assets, and Oracle projects.
- Location : Irvine, CA (5 days a week)
- Compensation : This job is expected to pay about $125,000 - $175,000 plus benefits
What You’ll Do :
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and monthly / annual closing processesLead special projects, including lease and fixed asset accounting initiatives, Oracle Projects enhancements, report development, and establishing new reconciliationsManage the accounting team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional developmentMotivate, mentor, and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the teamPerform year-over-year and period-over-period variance analysis for consolidated financials, ensuring accuracy through cross-functional collaborationReview period-end account reconciliations and reporting packages, assisting departments in understanding financial resultsPrepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsCoordinate annual audits and prepare necessary schedules and disclosuresDevelop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal controlsProactively research and document conclusions on accounting and compliance issues, citing relevant GAAP and internal policiesWhat Gets You the Job :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field requiredMinimum of 7 years’ of progressive Accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in public accounting required2-5 years of supervisory experienceActive CPA license requiredAbility to ensure confidentiality, take initiative and exercise considerable judgmentAbility to confidently communicate with external auditorsExceptional collaborative and teamwork skillsExcellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to meet communicated schedules and deadlinesHighly self-motivated, independent and proactive worker who is eager to learnAdvanced Excel skillsSome travel is requiredIf we are still actively screening for this role, our AI Recruiter, Avery will email you to schedule a virtual meeting to learn more about your background.
