Job Summary :
The Specialist, Quoting provides administrative sales-proposal quoting to Account Executives and Account Managers and shares accountability for team sales goals. This role works collaboratively with Sales team members to manage, track, and build quote requests from customers and prospects via the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Supporting a wide range of support-related tasks, the Specialist coordinates resources across departments to ensure achievement of a common goalpresenting quotes and meeting sales targets. This role is onsite at our Dublin, OH office.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
Manage quote requests and facilitate movement of proposals through workflow, with an entry in ConnectWise Sales Service Board, Salesforce or the MS Dynamics CRM systemProcess transactional quotes and manage sales order entry process, including logging new ordersProduce quotes, SOWs, and proposals based on data points provided by Account Managers and Account ExecutivesSupport sales staff though meetings, phone calls, and resource coordination to determine quoting needsInitiate quotes for best prices from a variety of vendors and distributors in support of the procurement processOwn the renewal process by tracking, managing, and quoting customers impacted by license expirationsWork regularly in partner portals to ensure product pricing availability and inventory to meet sales needsIdentify, monitor, and ensure all necessary pricing information and approvals are completed, including record pricing information and cross-reference sales opportunities in CRMEnsure sales opportunities are compliant with company policyEngage cross-functional resources to achieve goals and meet customer needsProvide support continuous process improvement within the quoting department that has direct impact on revenue growth and team efficiencyIn tandem with Procurement and Inventory Specialist provide backup and overflow for in office duties i.e. shipping, receiving and inventory pulls.Qualifications :
College degree not required, similar on the job experience preferred2 to 4 years of experience in Quoting preferably in an IT or professional services environmentExperience working with a CRM, preferably ConnectWise, Salesforce.Experience in vendor sourcing and partnerships within the IT SpaceProactive in adopting sales best practices and a shepherd in process adherenceAbility to work in a team environment and demonstrate presentation, planning ability, as well as verbal and written communication skillsBusiness acumen; translating business requirements into quoting solutionsFlexible and able to remain calm in times of stress while managing multiple priorities at one timeActive listener with excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to handle difficult conversationsSound problem-solving technique with ability and persistence to generate options and select the best solutionAbility to build relationships based on trust to enable collaboration and cooperation amongst team members and internal / external stakeholdersAbility to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both verbally and in written formAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentTeam player mentality and willingness to share knowledge with othersLogically provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, gender identity, sexual orientation, and other protected classes.
