Do you have an eye for detail and enjoy working with amazing products and tools? Join us in championing and protecting explorers and heroes! As a Test Engineer at SNC, you will be using your skills and expertise to simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services. You'll develop complex test plans and procedures for a variety of systems to ensure the verification and validation of all product requirements. You will also be involved with the execution of the tests using top industry tools. As a cross functional engineer, you\'ll test system and component level new products and develop new test processes throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex test plans and procedures for a variety of systems to ensure the verification and validation of all product requirements.
  • Simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services.
  • Execute tests using top industry tools.
  • As a cross functional engineer, test system and component level new products and develop new test processes throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor\'s of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including how QA fits into each phase from requirements through deployment and maintenance
  • Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration
  • Exposure to planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
  • Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports in order to demonstrate compliance to system requirements
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
  • Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate bugs and issues to developers and stakeholders
  • Detailed oriented mindset with a focus on test coverage, accuracy and repeatability
  • Willingness to learn automation concepts and tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Qualifications We Prefer

  • Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies
  • Experience working in CI / CD environments and understanding how testing fits into deployment pipelines
  • Knowledge of API testing tools
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with developers and product owners
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly
  • Ability to perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
