What You’ll Do

As a Battery Systems Engineer Contractor , you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and bringing to life 5kW–7kW lithium-ion battery pack configurations . You’ll collaborate with top-tier engineers, drive innovation from concept to manufacturing, and see your work power real-world applications.

Highlights of the Role

  • Design and validate state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery packs .
  • Partner with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams to deliver high-performance solutions.
  • Influence cell selection, BMS integration, safety systems, and thermal management .
  • Lead prototype builds and hands-on testing during critical project phases.
  • Contribute to manufacturability and scalability , ensuring designs are ready for production.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Engineering background (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Proven track record in lithium-ion battery pack design and manufacturing (5kW–10kW range preferred).
  • Hands-on knowledge of pack architecture, safety standards, and validation testing .
  • Strong problem-solver who loves both design and getting hands-on with builds .
  • A collaborator who can thrive in both remote work and onsite lab environments .
