What You’ll Do
As a Battery Systems Engineer Contractor , you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and bringing to life 5kW–7kW lithium-ion battery pack configurations . You’ll collaborate with top-tier engineers, drive innovation from concept to manufacturing, and see your work power real-world applications.
Highlights of the Role
- Design and validate state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery packs .
- Partner with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams to deliver high-performance solutions.
- Influence cell selection, BMS integration, safety systems, and thermal management .
- Lead prototype builds and hands-on testing during critical project phases.
- Contribute to manufacturability and scalability , ensuring designs are ready for production.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Engineering background (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).Proven track record in lithium-ion battery pack design and manufacturing (5kW–10kW range preferred).Hands-on knowledge of pack architecture, safety standards, and validation testing .Strong problem-solver who loves both design and getting hands-on with builds .A collaborator who can thrive in both remote work and onsite lab environments .Why This Role?
