Description :

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the PACU setting.

Responsibilities include assessing patients in the recovery phase post-anesthesia.

The nurse will monitor vital signs and overall patient status.

Attention to detail is crucial for early detection of complications.

Patient education and discharge instructions will be part of the role.

Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is required.

Experience in procedures such as abdominoplasty, gastric bypass, and total joint replacement is preferred.

The nurse should be familiar with handling ventilated patients and conscious sedation practices.

The ability to manage complex patient needs is essential.

Strong communication skills are necessary for effective patient interaction.

Flexibility with varied start times and call requirements is expected.
