Job Title
To provide and direct the analysis of information concerning Sharp HealthCare and Sharp affiliated medical group capitation arrangements. To coordinate the auditing and summarization of medical group risk settlements with health plans.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years financial analysis experience preferably in a managed care related atmosphere.

Experience with health plan capitation and risk settlements.Previous supervisory experience.Other Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related business field, or equivalent finance experience in a healthcare environment. - RequiredEssential Functions
Budget analysis and reporting Responsible for the maintenance and revision of System wide budget databases. Maintains detail behind allocations and provides analysis and reporting required by Senior Management.Budget reporting Participates in monthly FARM for System Services by providing analysis of operating results and explanations for significant budget / actual variances. Is the primary liaison to System Services management regarding budget variance analysis.Demonstrates initiative and teamwork Training and assisting co-workers with tasks. Meeting established deadlines. Representing department and Sharp in a professional manner. Dedication to enhancement and improvement of skills.Financial analysis Assists in the preparation of the 5-Year Plan model. Prepares comprehensive reports and analysis for Senior Management.Leadership Investigating and researching issues or questions brought to Finance's attention by management in regard to their department or entity operations. Establishing and maintaining active relationships with customers by periodically assessing needs and satisfaction and by providing quality customer service. Providing financial approval for expense reports for System Services with adherence to appropriate policy and procedure guidelines. Completes special projects as assigned.Preparation and consolidation of department operating and capital budgets according to the budget calendar Assist in the planning and coordination of the annual budget process. Maintains proficiency on budget software application and acts as a liaison between other Analysts and vendor by providing technical support. Consolidates operating budgets and prepares consolidated operating budget package.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Lotus 1-2-3, v1 or higher.Knowledge of a Database Software Program such as DBase 4 Ability to sort, organize and summarize complex data.Knowledge of physician group operations in a managed care environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
