Overview
Rutland Regional Medical Center – Rutland, VT. At the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Leadership and radiologists, the position works within one or more specialties or procedural settings and is responsible for coordinating the activities, documentation and transfer of information related to scheduling and preparing the patient for in-department appointments for procedures and / or related testing. Coordinates schedules and acts as liaison between relevant offices, departments, external resources, and individuals to achieve appropriate preparation arrangements. Delivers complete customer service and maximizes productivity in the delivery of radiology images and results. Understands and uses a network of computerized systems for processing information and for archiving and retrieving image studies. Comprehends workflows required for the use of radiology images throughout a broad customer base internally and externally.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.Basic Anatomy & Physiology desirable.2 years medical-related office experience.Prior experience with direct clinical patient care such as LNA, MA, EMT or related field.Experience in a high-volume environment with competing priorities.Demonstrated strong knowledge of medical terminology.Demonstrated strong knowledge of advanced computer skills.Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Highly discreet, able to routinely handle confidential materials.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments.Demonstrated experience in successfully supporting peer staff members in improvement initiatives.Demonstrated problem solving skills and critical thinking.J-18808-Ljbffr
