Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Welder / Fabricator - 2nd Shift to join our team in Lincoln, NE. The Welder / Fabricator will fabricate and weld pressure vessels and related components in accordance to ASME code. Job Location : Lincoln, NE (6940 Cornhusker Highway)

Shift : 2nd Shift - (3 : 30pm to 12 : 00am, Monday - Friday). Overtime as needed.

Essential functions :

• Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety rules.
• Be willing to learn how to operate the overhead crane, scissor lift, use scaffolding & ladders.
• Must have the ability to work in confined space and up to 25 feet heights as required.
• Have the ability to read blueprints and process sheets accurately preferred.
• Must know, understand, and abide by 5S housekeeping procedures and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Be willing to understand and use IFS time keeping system to clock on / off jobs correctly and accurately.
• Must demonstrate full competence in meeting safety, quality and production standards.
• Willing to learn the following weld certifications :
• GMAW-S (FCAW), All positions, desired
• GMAW-SC, All positions, desired
• SMAW, All positions, desired
• GTAW, All positions, desired
• Must follow Procedures for Welder performance Qualification Testing.
• Performs work as a Floater in the Fabrication & Assembly, Pressure Vessel, or CNC Departments as assigned.
• Apply intellect, creativity, adaptability, judgment, and management skills to achieve required results.
• Ensure duties and company projects are accomplished in an efficient and cost effective manner.
• Support peers and management with internal and external projects.
• Adhere to company policies.
• Performs all other job duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
