Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 6 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, rotating Employment Type : Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Rotating Shifts Location Position available in a large academic trauma level 1 facility. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shifts are rotating between Day and Evening. The pattern typically consists of three-day shifts plus one off shift, with off shift options at varying times. Call is required one weekday per week plus one 24-hour call in each four-week schedule block. Flexibility with the schedule is essential to meet unit needs and patient care requirements. Job Description The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for circulating all specialties except for CVOR cases and scrubbing General, GU, GYN, ENT, Eye, Plastics, Lap Cases, Trauma, Thoracic, and Vascular surgeries. Candidates must demonstrate prior travel experience and possess strong surgical skills. Responsibilities Provide patient care during surgical procedures. Prepare and maintain the operating room according to facility protocols. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery. Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to facilitate patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN. Prior travel nursing experience is required. EPIC experience within the past 2 years is nonnegotiable. Must have experience in a level 1 trauma facility. BLS certification required. Why ARMStaffing?
