Job Summary
Recruit blood donors by telephone, schedule appointments, coordinate reminders and maintain records to increase the number of donors and blood products to meet the collections goals. Provide support, development and / or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
Pay Rate
Starting rate $16.00-16.50 per hour (possibly more for areas with a higher cost of living).
Schedule
Tuesday through Thursday 10 : 00AM-7 : 30PM, Friday 9 : 30AM-6 : 00PM, and Saturday 9 : 00AM-2 : 00PM Eastern time.
Training
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule for the first 4-6 weeks of training.
Qualifications
Education : High School or equivalent required.
Experience : 1 year of related experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities : Ability to work on a team. Computer experience, excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required. Effective verbal communication skills, the ability to work with potentially difficult customers, and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
Note : Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to the description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
