Cybersecurity Analyst

Salary Range : $70,000 – $114,000 per year (DOE)

Location : Portland Metro Area

About the Role

At LHH, we are proactively recruiting top cybersecurity talent to meet the evolving needs of our clients in the Portland Metro area. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you'll be matched with forward-thinking organizations that value security as a business priority.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and investigate incidents
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Respond to and remediate security incidents
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and best practices
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure compliance with security standards
Prepare reports and present findings to leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles

Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS / IPS, and endpoint protection

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CISA)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+)

Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Incident response and threat intelligence experience

Compensation

Salary Range : $70,000 – $114,000 per year (DOE)

Other Compensation : May include stock options or profit sharing, depending on the client
