As a Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Tue 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sat 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Sun 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with site access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted in designated areas.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following prescribed procedures in the event of fire, medical, or other incidents.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
