The Role

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Lead Material Technician to drive operational excellence in material handling and logistics coordination. This role is responsible for leading a team of material associates, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting production needs. The ideal candidate is an innovative, data-driven leader with a passion for process optimization, team development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

What You’ll Do

• Safety & Compliance : Enforce safety rules, report hazards, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including emergency procedures.
• Training & Development : Train new team members and maintain updated training records / matrix.
• Communication : Keep team informed of job changes, updates, and operational information to ensure smooth and safe workflow.
• Coordination & Oversight : Lead material associates in equipment operation and product shipment, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Inventory & Replenishment : Review replenishment sheets, follow up with relevant teams, and ensure stock availability for production.
• Documentation : Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly; document activities as needed.
• Support & Leadership : Promote morale and teamwork, assist supervisors / managers, and lead rework material handling when necessary.
• Quality & Productivity : Meet / exceed standards using available resources and ensure cycle counts are completed.
