Job Description
We are seeking a board-certified Nephrologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule with some weekend coverage and primarily involves outpatient clinic duties with supplemental inpatient consultative care. The assignment features Epic EMR and support from a dedicated kidney RN and hospitalist teams.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive nephrology care in the outpatient clinic, covering cases such as CKD, hypertension, and glomerular diseasesPerform consultative inpatient nephrology duties with hospitalists as primary on all inpatientsManage inpatient call for approximately 15–20 patients, with back-up support for higher volumesCollaborate with interventional radiology, general, and vascular surgery teams for patient managementConduct monthly rounds on a dialysis patient population of approximately 75, in coordination with dialysis vendorsOversee and support CKD population management with dedicated nursing supportUtilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordinationAdditional Information
