Maternal - Fetal Medicine Physician

Locums Opportunity - Maternal Fetal Medicine / PerinatologyLocation : Omaha, NebraskaAssignment Dates : January 2026 - March 2026 (with potential for ongoing coverage)Start Date : As soon as possible (dependent on credentialing) Clinical Role & Schedule

Coverage Requirement : 7 days per month of 24 / 7 call coverage, including weekends

Call window : Friday 8 : 00 AM - Monday 8 : 00 AM

Setting : Clinic, Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum

Duties : Outpatient consults

Read-only ultrasounds (MFM + general OB reads)

Inpatient ultrasound consult support

Occasional private deliveries or midwife backup (can be discussed) Note : Will consider housing the provider at one site based on comfort and schedule. Volume & Workflow

Clinic Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (45-60 min lunch)

Patient Load : 15-20 patients per day

Procedures : All standard maternal fetal medicine procedures in both clinic and hospital

Consultative Practice : Primarily consultative; some private OB possible Team & Support

Staffing : 5 Physicians

4.5 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)

4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Support Staff : Front desk and clinical team, on-site ultrasound

MFM on Staff

EMR : EPIC Licensure, Certifications & Training

Board Certification :

Required in OB-GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine

License :

Nebraska license preferred

Will consider candidates willing to obtain NE license

Training Requirements :

OB-GYN Residency

MFM Fellowship

Certifications Required :

BLS

DEA
