Job Description
We are seeking an independent and self-motivated Lead Aircraft Mechanic to support our crew and ensure the safety of our aircraft. As part of the Maintenance team, this person will be responsible for routine aircraft maintenance for SC Aviation and customers' aircraft. This is a second-shift, Monday-Friday position based in Janesville, WI.

What You'll Do :
- Serve as a supervisor to the second shift maintenance team and be an integral part of SC Aviation's safety and maintenance team.
- Perform routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure minimum schedule impact on all managed aircraft without compromising safety or quality.
- Work on our fleet including Hawker 800XPs, Falcon 2000s, and Falcon 900s.
- Demonstrate technical expertise.
- Independently perform scheduled inspections.
- Ensure all aircraft are safe for flight before scheduled departures.
- Perform operational checks as required for SCA operations.
- Procure parts from external vendors.
- Provide daily maintenance work, aircraft status, and time records.
- Communicate with flight crews regarding aircraft status.
- Train Junior Aircraft Mechanics as needed.
Qualifications
We need an experienced Aircraft Mechanic comfortable working both independently and in a team. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 2 pm - 10 pm. We are looking for :
