The Opportunity

Tasks : Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities. Design, develop, code, and test significant technical solutions collaborating with senior and lead engineers. Lead code / design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning at a team level. Organize work and lead team to deliver features and solutions. Independently resolve complex production issues and lead troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions that span multiple applications and systems. Mentor and coach junior engineers. May begin working with architecture to help influence directions for key technologies within a specific domain. Provide support to the Enterprise and have an opportunity to significantly impact organizational growth and effectiveness through delivering best in class technology solutions. Engage in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting, and implementing software, responding to outages. May telecommute.

Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires :

• ServiceNow platform (Rome or newer versions);
• Creating workflows in Flow Designer for catalog items and automation efforts;
• Working with ITSM modules with a focus on Incident Management;
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, or Web Services with ServiceNow APIs;
• Integration Hub and creation of custom Spokes;
• Portal development or Employee Center;
• REST APIs and credential management;
• Decision Management and Decision Builder; and
• Atlassian tools suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities.
