Role Overview

Logicon is seeking a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Chicago. This hybrid role is designed for a proven sales professional with strong experience in driving full-cycle B2B sales, particularly within the technology sector. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in AI solutions, integrations, and user adoption strategies, while owning the complete funnel—from prospecting and outreach to discovery, proposal, and close.

This role is best suited for a highly motivated, Chicago-based professional (female candidates preferred) with a strong sales track record and the ability to turn scoped pilots into multi-workstream deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales funnel : target identification → outreach → discovery → solution framing → proposal → close.
  • Prioritize PoCs and scoped pilots that expand into larger, multi-stream enterprise deals.
  • Conduct prospecting and research : build named account lists, map decision makers, and identify key opportunities.
  • Execute personalized, multi-threaded outreach via email, calls, LinkedIn, and events, tailored to decision makers in AI, integrations, and user adoption.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, consistently meeting and exceeding quotas.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to shape proposals and client solutions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate CRM records (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
  • Provide feedback from prospects to inform sales strategy and product positioning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding targets (technology and AI sector experience strongly preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-thread relationships across multiple stakeholders and close complex deals.
  • Skilled in handling objections and framing value-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and modern prospecting platforms.
  • Strong research, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Must be based in Chicago, IL (hybrid work model).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
