Position : Mainframe Infra Architect

Job Description :
- Should work with Client Mainframe team on assessing the current platform
- Must work on Projects assigned by Customer
- Owning Governance & Weekly call
- Responsible for the Projects assigned and work with Vendors & teams
- Should work with DB2 & other DB team to understand the DB setup with assessment
- Should be able to produce the Optimisation plan, implementing automation & Gen AI
- Mainframe & Storage assessment.
- Performance management
- Assess and Strategize : Work with the client's mainframe team to evaluate the current platform, identifying areas for improvement, optimization, and modernization.
- Lead Projects : Own and manage assigned mainframe projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
- Collaborate : Partner effectively with external vendors and internal technical teams (including DB2 and other database teams) to understand setups and coordinate project activities.
- Optimize Performance : Develop and implement optimization plans for mainframe applications and infrastructure to boost performance and efficiency.
- Innovate & Automate : Drive automation initiatives, including exploring and integrating Generative AI capabilities to enhance mainframe operations.
- Govern & Report : Lead governance activities and weekly calls, providing clear project updates and aligning on strategic direction.
- Deep Dive Analysis : Conduct comprehensive assessments of mainframe and storage environments to pinpoint bottlenecks and opportunities.
Expert-level proficiency in :
Mainframe Core : IBM z / OS, Mainframe DB2 & Storage, CICS.Security : RACF, CBAC.Service Models : Mainframe as a Service (MaaS) concepts.Solid working knowledge (medium proficiency) in :
Development : COBOL, JCL.Utilities : Various mainframe utilities.SCM Tools : CA Endevor, Rocket LCM.Analytical Skills : Excellent problem-solving abilities to assess complex mainframe environments and propose effective solutions.Communication & Leadership : Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to lead discussions, influence stakeholders, and present technical information clearly.Project Management : Proven ability to manage
