About The Position

Key Responsibilities :

Carry out treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Instruct and assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and use of assistive devices.

Monitor and document patients’ responses to treatment and report any changes to the Physical Therapist.

Encourage and educate patients and their families about home exercises and rehabilitation strategies.

Assist with patient care documentation in accordance with professional, legal, and ethical guidelines.

Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, ensuring proper use of equipment.

Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Support clinic operations, including scheduling and patient flow, as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.

Current and active state license or certification to practice as a PTA.

CPR / BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
