Responsibilities Academic level 1 trauma, stroke, and transplant hospital with high-acuity patients Work alongside a team of 5 full-time sonographers and 3 PRN staff Caseload is approximately 7-9 exams per day, with each exam estimated at one hour Mix of chemical and physical stress exams performed; bedside exams are common Monday to Friday schedule, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, rotating every other week with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and one weekend day included Up to 5 days of call required per month Day shift (5x8 hours) Epic EMR experience preferred (if listed, otherwise omit) Not accepting local candidates within a 70-mile radius Primary responsibilities include performing a variety of echocardiographic exams, including stress testing and bedside procedures, on high-acuity patients Training modules must be completed prior to start, with module hours recorded on transcripts Travelers must be clean shaven for required respirator FIT testing OSHA Respirator Clearance required prior to start Caribbean blue is the department's color for scrubs, though not strictly required Free onsite parking is available Not accepting first-time travelers or those with less than a 6-month break since a prior assignment at this facility Requirements Minimum of 3 years recent Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer experience Current BLS and either RCDS or RCS certification required Must be willing to work at least 4 of the 8 specified holidays : Halloween, Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Ability to perform both chemical and physical stress testing preferred Pending state license accepted but required in hand prior to start Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years required for consideration Must submit all requested time off (RTO) with initial application; additional RTO post-acceptance is at manager discretion License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614714.
