We are seeking a skilled CNC Plasma Operator / Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake and CNC Plasma Table machines and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality metal components while adhering to safety standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate press brake & CNC Plasma machines to cut, bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions and quality of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Safely operate forklifts & overhead cranes for material handling as needed.
- Assist in programming the press brake, and CNC Plasma table for complex cuts, bends and shapes, ensuring precision in production.
