Our Founders

Fiddler AI is founded by Krishna Gade (engineering leader at Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Microsoft) and Amit Paka (product leader at Microsoft, Samsung, Paypal and two-time founder). We are backed by Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Lux Capital.

Mission

As VP of Finance and a founding finance leader at Fiddler AI, you will build and scale the finance function from the ground up, driving strategic financial decisions, ensuring forecast accuracy and compliance, and enabling sustainable growth. You’ll partner across the company to create frameworks, processes, and insights that support capital raises, operational excellence, and profitable scaling—shaping the future of Fiddler AI while leading and mentoring the finance team.

About The Team

We’re a team of smart, driven, and mission-aligned individuals passionate about building trustworthy, transparent, and understandable AI solutions. Our team is spread across the continental U.S. and India, with our headquarters in Palo Alto. The leadership group is a humble but high-caliber mix, bringing experience from both large corporations and scrappy start-ups. Most of the executive team is based in the Bay Area, giving this role plenty of face-to-face time, support, and collaboration opportunities.

Beyond work, we’re a diverse bunch : from Ironman finishers to avid travelers (one is nearly done visiting every U.S. state), to parents navigating everything from drop-offs at preschool to college move-in day. What You’ll Do

• Drive Strategic Financial Decisions – own the financial strategy and operations that enable rapid, sustainable growth. Partner with the executive team and Board to drive strategic decisions that optimize growth, profitability, and capital allocation, helping to ensure MRR / ARR grows quarter-over-quarter, churn stays low, and net revenue retention increases.
• Lead FP&A, Forecasting, and Budgeting – delivering rolling forecasts with low variance versus actuals, aligning budgets across departments, and ensuring capital is allocated efficiently to support strategic initiatives.
• Ensure Accounting Excellence and Compliance – maintaining timely reporting and audit readiness to support high confidence decision making, keeping a month-end close on time, achieving zero major audit findings, and ensuring full regulatory compliance, while providing timely and accurate management reporting and Board decks.
• Optimize Operations and Systems – scale finance processes to extend cash runway, maintain a burn multiple at or below 1.5x, and implement scalable controls across the finance organization.
• Lead Fundraising and Investor Relations – craft credible financial narratives and manage diligence processes for growth equity, private equity, or prospective public investors, enabling successful capital raises and smooth M&A integrations.
• Build & Mentor the Finance Team – foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and accountability and create a finance function capable of supporting Fiddler AI’s next stage of growth.

Compensation

$230,000 - $270,000

The posted range represents the expected salary range for this job requisition and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package and perks previously outlined. Ultimately, in determining pay, we\'ll consider your experience, leveling, location, and other job-related factors.
