Energy Systems Modeler and Analyst

Role Overview

As a Energy Systems Modeler and Analyst, you will play a critical role advancing our energy modeling capabilities and supporting our customers in achieving their sustainability and operational goals. Reporting to the CTO, you will develop and implement analytical tools for standardized products and bespoke customer needs.

This role is ideal for an experienced energy modeler who thrives in startup environments and enjoys cross-functional work that supports founders, investors, and team members alike.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate with our team and be responsible for :

• Developing and integrating with market data APIs for power prices, carbon intensity, and weather forecasts.
• Implementing a host of time series analysis techniques including AI / ML-drive methods for predictive maintenance and energy forecasting.
• Developing and deploying techno-economic analysis (TEA) models to optimize facility operations and project sizing.
• Collaborating directly with customers to refine and deploy solutions tailored to their project development and operational needs.
