Overview

Seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing solutions for cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . This role requires strong programming expertise and experience building scalable automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Programming & Automation : Develop clean, efficient test scripts using Python (and Java) for API and UI testing, including cloud application testing in GCP.
Framework Design : Architect and maintain modular, reusable, and scalable automation frameworks ; select and integrate appropriate tools for optimal test execution.
API / UI Testing : Implement automation using Playwright or Karate , ensuring robust coverage of web services and user interfaces.
Messaging & Data : Work with Kafka for event-driven test scenarios and message validation.
Test Data Management : Prepare, validate, and maintain test data; perform data integrity checks and analyze results to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python ; Java experience is a plus.

Hands-on experience with GCP-based application testing .

Proven track record in automation framework design and test data management .

Familiarity with Kafka , Playwright, or Karate.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid, collaborative environment.
