As a Security Officer Armed Transportation Patrol Specialist in Pasadena CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol transportation locations helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols responding to situations as they arise and delivering outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. Pay Rate : $26.01 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 05 : 30 AM - 02 : 00 PM Fri 05 : 30 AM - 02 : 00 PM Sat 05 : 30 AM - 02 : 00 PM Sun 05 : 30 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate healthcare and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Interact with the public employees and visitors in a courteous manner while upholding security-related standards.
  • Document observations incidents and activities in a clear and timely manner as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities and assist law enforcement or emergency personnel when appropriate.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
