• IA Technical / Management Designation : IAT II and CE
• Commercial (Baseline) Certificates : Cyber Workforce Qualification and Management Program (CWP), DoDD 8140.03 (formerly the DoD 8570.01-Manual Information Assurance Technical (IAT) and / or Information Assurance Management (IAM) level(s)), which directs all DoD personnel assigned to positions requiring the performance of cyberspace work as identified in DoDI 8140.02, in accordance with the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) , prior to being in-processed for performance on the contract, must have the proper certificate(s) to satisfy each requirement as directed in the following link :
• Experience in this Discipline : Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
• Functional Responsibility : Design, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing database management systems in accordance to the organization's business requirements. Document all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of database management systems. Coordinate changes, such as implementation of new database management system platforms, upgrades or version increments to existing database managements systems with database administrators and stakeholders. Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures to safeguard database managements systems and / or hosted databases. Performs database management system modeling, analysis, and planning. Coordinates with architecture, evaluate new and emerging database management system technologies and make recommendations for selection of these products. Assists database administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and if needed, coordinates vendor engagements to assist in troubleshooting efforts. May provide day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed database management systems in lab or production environments. Ability to plan, design, develop, and modify databases structures, and database administration tools using products and programming languages such as PLISQL, Visual Basic, T-SQL or ORACLE Forms. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Ability to work with other senior technical and user staff to complete projects. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Level III performs more independent thinking and difficult tasks compared to Level II, and may supervise others.
• Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree and / or equivalency.
