Integration Engineer (Tanks & Domes)

Description

As a Tanks Integration Engineer , you will be responsible with developing processes for dome, structures, and tank integration.

Helios is Impulse's new vehicle , a 3rd stage / kick stage. Launching in 2026, it is designed to take satellites & payloads to GEO for faster & cheaper than today's capability.

Responsibilities

• Own Helios tank builds through final integration
• Build, organize, and manage a multidisciplinary schedule to drive delivery of the tanks on time
• Work and communicate effectively at a technical level with numerous teams across propulsion, avionics, structures, software, test, and manufacturing
• Work with Responsible Engineers to solidify proper manufacturing and integration processes
• Develop & optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and specifications for tank integration & supporting structures
• Own the entire manufacturing life cycle for assigned projects & hardware
• Work directly with technicians and machinists to produce high-quality hardware

Work directly with outside vendors, including periodic visits to those vendors

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with 3 or more of the following manufacturing / integration processes :

Fabrication / final assembly of spacecraft insulation and / or other thermal protection systems

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options , and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan .
