Unarmed Security Officer (Security)

Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group is a rapidly growing company currently hiring an Unarmed Security Officer. We have a state-of-the-art infrastructure and we're looking for a strong Security Officer to work in a retail environment. We are a national security service provider licensed in 47 states. We are looking for experienced Security Officers to be part of our growing team.

On the Job — Security Officer

  • Stand post up to 8 hours per shift
  • Greet customers / employees and provide excellent customer service
  • Watch CCTV camera system and notate accurately in a daily activity report
  • Observe, survey, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location
  • Provide rapid response in critical situations

    • To Succeed at Metro One

  • Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service
  • High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness
  • Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm in confrontation
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength
  • Astute observation and detailed notetaking / reporting

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Active California Guard Card or willing to obtain one
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service / security position
  • Solid / stable work history
  • Drug Testing and Background screening required
  • Loss prevention, Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience - PLUS
