Pueblo Community Health Center (PCHC) has been dedicated to providing quality primary care since 1983. As a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we ensure that no patient is turned away based on their ability to pay. With a focus on patient-centered care, PCHC offers a range of services including medical, dental, and behavioral health care across fourteen sites in Pueblo and Huerfano counties.
We are seeking a Behavioral Specialist to join our team at Pueblo Community Health Center. In this role, you will provide essential behavioral health services to our diverse patient population, contributing to their overall well-being and quality of life. Your expertise will be vital in assessing patient needs and delivering effective interventions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in providing short- and long-term counseling as well as crisis intervention, taking psychosocial histories, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, interdisciplinary care coordination, and report writing. Knowledge of and experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques and different patient populations is a must. Experience working with substance use disorders and children and adolescents are also a plus. Spanish fluency strongly desired, but not required.
