$2,818 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : NICU

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years in a NICU setting

License : Active Registered Nurse License

Certifications : BLS, NRP, PALS, STABLE

Must-Have :

NRP and STABLE certifications required

Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Previous charge experience preferred

Travel experience required

Description :

High-risk Level III NICU.

Administer blood and blood products.

Administer anti-seizure medications, antibiotics, and antivirals.

Conduct APGAR scoring and arterial line management.

Assist with lumbar punctures.

Attend high-risk deliveries.

Monitor blood glucose levels.

Provide breastfeeding support and handling of breast milk.

Use Bubble CPAP and manage central lines.

Provide developmental care for neonates.

Conduct feeding via bottle, breast, or gavage.

Manage high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and high frequency ventilation.

Treat hyperbilirubinemia and administer insulin as needed.

Follow isolation precautions.

Administer IV vasopressors and manage chest tubes.

Handle conditions such as meconium aspiration, necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), and neonatal abstinence syndrome.

Perform neonatal dosage calculations and treat neonatal sepsis.

Care for neonates aged 29-34 weeks and 34 weeks.

Utilize nitric oxide (iNO) and oxygen delivery systems effectively.

Educate patients and families.

Conduct phlebotomy and phototherapy.

Place / manage oral, nasogastric, and nasojejunal tubes.

Manage respiratory distress syndrome and conduct sepsis work-ups.

Maintain IV access and administer steroids.

Perform suctioning and ventilator management (AC / PC / SIMV / CPAP / BIPAP / PEEP).

Ensure proper thermoregulation and handle umbilical artery and vein catheterization.
