After Chicago, led by three-Michelin-starred Chef Curtis Duffy, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Bar team.
Applicants should have at least 5 years of cocktail bar experience with a passion for serving guests. Our bartenders should guide guests through our cocktail and food programs. If you are someone who puts the team first, genuinely cares about making a guests experience memorable, explores cocktail making as a creative outlet, and are fascinated by culinary techniques then this is the place for you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Actively participates in all front of house training programs and consistently meets training expectations.
- Consistently provides guests with warm service
- Anticipates and accommodates guest needs throughout service.
- Establishes positive relationships with guests
- Sets up the bar according to layout standards.
- Contributes regularly to the development of seasonal cocktail menus.
- Assists in preparing juices, garnishes and syrups needed at the bar. .
- Presents and explains menus to guests at the bar.
- Provides food and beverage recommendations to bar patrons.
- Correctly makes cocktail up to set standards.
- Maintains bar cleanliness and organization.
- Correctly follows all cash-handling protocols.
- Conducts all required Opening, Side-Work, and Closing Duties as outlined
- Maintains mastery-level knowledge of all food and beverage menu-items, ingredients and preparation processes.
- Consistently able to speak confidently about the menu and to offer well-informed guidance in the selection of menu items and beverages.
- Performs additional tasks at the direction of management.
Located in the West Loop. Dinner Service, Tuesday - Saturday.
