Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to support the firms Corporate and Banking Practice Group in their Houston office.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized legal support in corporate and banking matters
• Draft, format, and edit legal documents with accuracy and consistency
• Manage and organize legal files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with court and firm standards
• Prepare and submit legal filings in accordance with county and state court procedures
• Utilize legal billing software (preferably Aderant) to generate and process invoices
• Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel and court appearances
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing
• Proofread legal documents and correspondence with exceptional attention to detail
• Use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare professional reports and presentations
• Type accurately at a minimum of 70 words per minute to support high-volume documentation needs
