Position Summary :

The Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for an adjunct position to teach an anatomy and physiology course, with laboratory, for the Fall 2025 semester.

BIOL 201, Anatomy and Physiology I, is the first course in a two-semester anatomy and physiology sequence for students majoring in biology, exercise science, and health sciences and those preparing for careers in medical fields. The course meets MWF afternoons from 2 : 40-3 : 45 p.m. (lecture) and Monday nights 6-9 p.m. (laboratory). The course runs from August 20 through December 5, 2025 plus a final exam between December 8 and 11. The successful candidate will have an MS degree or equivalent (e.g., PhD candidate) in a related area and teaching experience. A PhD is desirable.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $5,520 to $5,980. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the selected candidates experience and qualifications, including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
