Rehabilitation-Physical Therapist - Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY :
Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum Education Required :
- Master's degree in related field or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
License Required :
Licensed and registered with the State of Nevada and maintaining license renewal requirements.Certificate Required :
Maintains current American Heart Association BLS certification and continuing education requirements per the State of Nevada.Minimum Work Experience :
Ability to communicate with employees, physicians, patients and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner.Experience preferred.POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Treatment Plans
Evaluates and develops treatment plan for each new patient in a timely manner, within twenty -four hours. (Pediatric-geriatric patients).Complies with appropriate paper work requested with Medicare, Medicaid, Worker's Comp and Private Insurance for outpatients.Able to use EMR / EPIC for acute, swing bed and outpatient care documentation.Patient Exercise Programs
Directs and assists patients in all forms of exercising, functional training, manual therapy, gait and other forms of therapy.Patient Programs
Demonstrates ability to monitor and revise patient rehabilitation programs as needed.Develops, communicates and provides home exercise instructions to patient, care-giver and family members in a professional manner.Performs treatment programs in accordance with pre-established protocols / procedures by referring physicians.Educational Programs
