Overview

Cook 2 (Line Cook) role at Alila Hotels – Alila Marea Beach Resort, North County, San Diego. The resort features 130 guestrooms, 6,626 sq ft of meeting space, a full-service spa, two restaurants (Vaga and Pocket) and a café. High touch barefoot luxury and service are emblematic of the Alila Way.

Responsibilities

  • Work single stations in the kitchen with supervision and training.
  • Demonstrate good communication and culinary skills to support efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
  • Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
  • Able to work single station in the kitchen.
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

    • The hourly rate of pay for this position is $24.63. This is the pay range Alila Marea reasonably expects to pay.
