Location : Pflugerville, Texas

Schedule : Full-Time

Pay : $17.00-$20.00 / hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team of outstanding educators. Experience working with 2's and 3's age groups is highly desired. Our Lead Teachers coordinate the daily operations of their classrooms, plan and evaluate educational activities, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Requirement : CDA or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Preferred Qualification : Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Must meet background check eligibility.
Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
Completion of state-mandated preservice training.
Knowledge of Texas Rising Star (TRS), the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and / or Cognia standards is a plus.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for classroom and child safety needs.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes all areas of development.

Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Use technology and iPad apps to document children's learning and milestones.

Partner with families through regular communication and progress updates.

Demonstrate excellent classroom management and positive redirection strategies.

Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Goddard standards.

Collaborate with co-teachers and administrative staff to uphold school policies and best practices.
