We are seeking a dedicated and board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our mental health team in Waterbury, CT. This full-time role offers a structured schedule and an excellent work-life balance while providing high-quality psychiatric care in a supportive outpatient setting. Additionally, this position is eligible for the loan repayment program through NHSC.

What You Bring

Licensure : Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Connecticut.

Certification : Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

DEA Registration : Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration and an active Connecticut controlled substance registration.

Clinical Skills :

Expertise in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders using evidence-based practices.

Ability to triage clinical emergencies and implement safety protocols.

Knowledge of referral processes and community mental health resources.

Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Regulatory Compliance :

Adherence to confidentiality guidelines and reporting requirements for child abuse / neglect.

Compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
