About The Position

Job Title : Emergency Room Nurse

License : Current RN License

Certifications : BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, NIH Certification, GRH CPI / MOAB

Must-Have : Ability to self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test within the first week of assignment

Description :

The Emergency Room RN is responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.

Able to triage safely, rapidly, and accurately every patient that enters the emergency care system.

Coordinates care between other professional disciplines as needed.

Requires availability for every other weekend and every other holiday.

A basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week of assignment and must be passed to work in the emergency department.
