Job Purpose

The Senior Data Modeler will be responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise data models that support business and technical objectives. This includes building conceptual, logical, and physical models across relational, NoSQL, and modern data lake environments. The ideal candidate will serve as both a technical expert and a strategic advisor—defining data modeling standards, supporting governance practices, and ensuring high-quality data architecture across the enterprise ecosystem.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture & Modeling : Lead the design and development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for databases, data warehouses, operational data stores, and data lakes.
• Platform Implementation : Implement and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL environments, translating business needs into scalable, high-performance data structures.
• Data Governance : Establish and enforce enterprise-wide data modeling standards, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
• Architecture Oversight : Manage and expand existing data architecture, ensuring alignment with strategic business and data management objectives.
• Data Analysis & Quality Assurance : Develop and execute complex SQL queries for profiling, validation, and data quality checks to maintain data accuracy and referential integrity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with business analysts, engineers, and application teams to document data flows and design solutions supporting analytical and operational use cases.
• Risk & Performance Management : Identify potential risks in data design, recommend optimization strategies, and enhance query performance through tuning and modeling best practices.
