Production Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Specialist to support and improve the production of Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) materials and assist in launching new products into manufacturing. This role is ideal for a technically skilled individual who is looking to grow into a Process Engineer position within a dynamic and innovative environment.

This individual will play a key role in optimizing production, managing inventory, and ensuring on-time product launches while maintaining a safe, efficient workplace. Strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to lead production efforts are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to

• Improve existing SMC production processes and support the launch of new products
• Lead day-to-day production operations and inventory control
• Ensure a safe and compliant workplace environment
• Participate in internal and external audits (e.g., cost, process)
• Manage production schedules and personnel planning
• Adjust production inventory using SAP / MES
• Order and track equipment and materials for production
• Communicate effectively with mold and equipment vendors in Korea and the U.S.
• Collect, organize, and report production data in a timely and accessible manner
