Inside Higher Ed is hiring : Student Assistant - Photography Lab in Carrollton

The Department of Art, History, and Philosophy Photography Area is seeking a Photography Lab Assistant to assist the photography program by supporting students and faculty by facilitating a productive, safe, and friendly work environment in the digital print lab.

The schedule will be determined upon consultation and agreement with the Photography Faculty with the possibility of evening and / or weekend shifts. Additional duties will include :

• Monitoring the photography area facilities.
• Providing assistance in the Digital Lab to students, faculty, staff, and guests.
• Maintaining a level of security in designated areas and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Assisting with enforcing department policies and procedures.
• Attending workshops and trainings as required.
• Collaborating with AHP staff on projects as needed.
• Performing other related duties as assigned, depending on specific functional area.
